Our shirts are tailored within 3 weeks after order then they are shipped from our production partner in Italy. We also do rush orders at an extra charge, 20 – 25% extra.
Are there customization options available for collars, cuffs, and buttons?
But of course! We offer more than 25 different collar types, more than 10 cuff styles, more than 8 pocket styles and lots more custom detailing to select to complete the design of your shirt. You can customize your shirt design with your tailor. Alternatively, you can select a shirt then select Customise details to select from. Buttons are endless in many colours to select from.
What if I’m not sure about my exact measurements?
Don’t you worry! A tailor can help you with getting your measurements taken and explain the proportions to your body parts. Our tailors visit our clients at home or office to take measure towards designing your tailor made shirt. One of our tailors can guide a family member over video chat on how to take measurements to create your perfect fit.
How do I care for and maintain a tailor-made shirt?
You can care and maintain your tailor made shirts to ensure its long life and keep it look new by always checking the label on the inside. All our shirts are labelled with care instructions. We generally recommend dry cleaning for our shirts with light ironing, proper storage and other care for special fabrics.
Can tailor-made shirts be adjusted after they are made?
It can be, but alterations are very limited. The body can be made smaller but not necessarily bigger. There is not enough allowance to make the shirt bigger or the sleeves longer. Where a shirt is not made fit for purpose, it is remade to provide the best fit.
Is there a minimum order quantity for tailor-made shirts?
Yes, we ask clients to order at least 2 shirts. Since our shirts are made in Italy it is economical to buy more than one. The price drops on the second shirt.
Can I see samples or swatches of fabrics before selecting?
Absolutely! You are presented different shirt options based on your purpose. A tailor will show you multiple shirt swatches to select from according the weight/gram, season, pattern, colour and weave, ensuring it meets your expectations. Sampling fabrics ahead of the design helps male an informed decision resulting in a shirt that showcases your personal style.
What is the pricing structure for tailor-made shirts and what factors influence the cost?
Our shirts start at $225 entry level fabrics. Clients buying multiple shirts enjoy a discount after the second or third. Pricing are determined by the fabric selected from the various levels – Silver | Gold | Platinum | Special | Premium.
Alumo fabrics start at $300. Alumo fabrics is the best cotton selection in the world. All their shirt fabrics are 2 ply for longer lasting shirts.
